Honda Light Weight Super Sports Concept

Honda says this machine, a next-generation supersport concept, is designed to have “strong presence,” thanks to a high-performance look that comes from its long nose and crouched riding position. The surfaces, says Honda, are designed to create a sense of hardness and solidity, aided by sharp edges that up the aggression. Matte-black paint and low-contrast graphics effective at giving this machine a serious dose of attitude. It seems likely to be a CBR250RR or perhaps 300RR supersport single with a lighter weight tubular chassis, plus upgraded wheels, brakes and tires. The swingarm is aluminum instead of steel and the fork is inverted vs. the current streetbike’s conventional unit.

It has appeared the same since 2008, but it has seen numerous iterations along the way to becoming this new 2016 model.
